About Us

Sara Shaposhnik created The Balabusta's Daily Organizer in 2008 when she realized that, in addition to not showing most Jewish holidays, the inspirational quotes in the planner she was using were completely secular. Sara and her family have made aliyah, and now live in Ramat Beit Shemesh.

Ellene Newman creates the layout for The Balabusta's Daily Organizer. Ellene is also a residential and kitchen designer, with expertise in kosher kitchens, ergonomics, living in place "forever" homes, and special needs. To see more of Ellene's work, please visit her website at design613.com

Ellene and her husband have 2 grown sons, one wonderful daughter-in-law and five grandchildren.
